Chisinau
The capital of Rep. of Moldova, it is considered to be one of the greenest cities in Europe. There are many parks in the city and the trees are placed on almost every street. Monuments, museums, and other touristical attractions wait to be seen in the city. Chisinau’s nightlife is very lively and one of the main draws to the city, we will surely enjoy it in our TSU.
Tiraspol
It is the second largest city in Moldova and is the capital and administrative centre of the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria). Many consider Transnistria an area where time stopped more than 20 years ago, in the soviet era.
Iasi
It was the capital of historic Moldova between 1564 and 1859. Famous in Romania and also regionally for it’s romantic air and rich cultural history it was also called since the creation of modern Romania, the cultural capital of Romania. Most of Romania’s classic artists, poets, writers lived in this beautiful city and it is today one of the hotest spots for cultural and artistic expression. The Universities here are the top universities in Romania and well known outside the borders. Just a simple walk on Steven the Great Bd., Copou Bd. will make our time in Iasi unforgetable.
Neamt County
Neamţ county is known as the region with the most monasteries to be found per square kilometer in the world. In the western part, there are mountains, the Eastern Carpathians, with heights of over 1800m and the impressive peak of Mount Ceahlău that offers impressive sights. The county is host to two of Romania’s 9 national parks: Ceahlău Massif and Vânători-Neamţ Natural Park. A place where nature and the countryside offers amazing sceneries and abundant biodiversity.
Suceava County
Also known as Bucovina, the county has an impressive history and concentrates a huge number of cultural and natural monuments. Like the Neamt county, it is famos for it’s touristical resorts and the living traditions, most of the population living in rural areas. It is one of the top touristical attractions in Romania.
